100th Day of School

We hope that you enjoy these pictures of the projects our students completed for the 100th day of school!

We were lucky to get to visit a store as it would look one hundred years from now!
We all enjoyed a snack that we "bought" from the store with Cat Cash!

We made a poster with 100 handprints!

We traced one of our student's body and listed 100 good character traits on it.
We are all good citizens!

We are dreaming BIG!

Today we started class with a poem reading from a very special little book I received for my High School graduation that is all about having dreams and goals. We all LOVED the poem and the class was so inspired to NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS! Every single one of our students is so full of life and potential and our goal is to make sure they leave the first grade knowing they are of GREAT worth and can do ANYTHING they dream! Here is the poem...

Continue to Climb

Follow your dream...
take one step at a time
and don't settle for less,
just continue to climb.
Follow your dream...
if you stumble, don't stop
and lose sight of your goal, press on to the top.
For only on top
can we see the whole view,
can we see what we've done
and what we can do,
can we then have the vision
to seek something new....
Press on,
and follow your dream.
